The next generation of ™ integrated Fast Dome Surveillance System offers several significant enhancements and refinements, derived through our commitment to continuous improvement and attention to customer's requirements.
The SOLSEC-SPDOME measures a mere 145mm in diameter yet packs in even more features than the previous models, now smaller and even quieter making the number of potential applications limitless. With continuous rotation and a speed range of 0.18 deg./sec to 360 deg./sec the dome is easily controlled. Direct and accurate response ensures targets are easily located and tracked. When required, the dome can be quickly spun 180 deg., an important feature when something passes directly under the camera.
The Fast Dome's high performance color camera is equipped with a 17X or 22X optical auto-focus zoom lens. A resolution of 480TV lines provides high definition images and Digital Signal Processing maintains optimum quality in varying conditions with intelligent use of Back Light Compensation, Auto Zoom…Etc. Up to 128 preset positions can be programmed and recalled with an accuracy of 0.25 degrees. 6 local alarm inputs (expandable to 64) can drive the dome to any position in under a second; there is also a patrol facility with individual settings for speed and dwell.
A local alarm output can be configured as NO or NC and two types of alarm response mode provide flexible alarm management: Lock Mode - dome remains at last alarmed preset point. Release Mode - dome moves between alarmed points, then reverts to prior status, such as auto pan. Flexible configuration options mean the system can be as simple as a single fast dome with one keyboard or as encompassing as 64 domes with comprehensive matrix switching, PC control, multiple control points and eve Digital Video Recording. Such flexibility means future expansion is easily facilitated and these new domes can also be installed as part of an existing Solar Secure™ system.
Installation is fast and simple with push fit connections for RS-485 telemetry and alarms, twist and lock mounting onto the base plate and an external PSU. Each Fast Dome is addressed via a dip-switch with direct connection to a control keyboard, via a matrix and even from a PC. The small size of the fast dome allows simple, unobtrusive installation in a wide range of applications. There are two options for ceiling mounting: either embedded (false ceiling), or attached (fixed ceiling). Only a small ceiling void is needed for the embedded mount and this leaves only the lower tinted cover of the dome showing, making a discreet and attractive installation.
