Solar Secure™ is the merging of two leading technologies currently being sold in the USA. SOL's solar energy power systems and Eclipse CCTV's wireless remote CCTV systems.
Creative Action has combined the two technologies to create Solar Secure™, the first totally wireless CCTV system for office, shop centres, large open spaces.
The Solar Secure™ system is an expandable system offering complete flexibility, from just 4 cameras to 16 camera system ( wireless ) or unlimited if wired.
The Solar Secure™ features the SOLSEC-SPEEDDOME measuring a mere 145mm in diameter. With continuous rotation and a speed range of 0.18 deg./sec to 360 deg./sec the dome is easily controlled. Direct and accurate response ensures targets are easily located and tracked. When required, the dome can be quickly spun 180 deg., an important feature when something passes directly under the camera. The Fast Dome's high performance color camera is equipped with a 22X optical auto-focus zoom lens. A resolution of 480TV lines provides high definition images and Digital Signal Processing maintains optimum quality in varying conditions with intelligent use of Back Light Compensation, Auto Zoom…Etc.
Up to 128 preset positions can be programmed and recalled with an accuracy of 0.25 degrees. 6 local alarm inputs (expandable to 64) can drive the dome to any position in under a second; there is also a patrol facility with individual settings for speed and dwell. A local alarm output can be configured as NO or NC and two types of alarm response mode provide flexible alarm management: Lock Mode - dome remains at last alarmed preset point. Release Mode - dome moves between alarmed points, then reverts to prior status, such as auto pan. Flexible configuration options mean the system can be as simple as a single fast dome with one keyboard or as encompassing as 64 domes with comprehensive matrix switching, PC control, multiple control points and even Digital Video Recording,
Solar Secure Remote Digital Recording
Solsec Speed dome cameras have fitted as standard transmitters which can send data and video transmission to a control centre up to 12 miles away. ( line of sight ).
Each camera has a corresponding receiver connected to a SOLSEC Digital Video Recorder. Each controller can control up to 16 cameras, recording up to 14 days material ( subject to size and quality of recording required and fitting of 250 GB hard internal hard drive)
The SOLSEC DVR can connect to a standard PC for extra hard disk storage.
Using the PC's VDU, all camera positions DP-REALVIEW the software which provides real-time viewing, can simultaneously play live video from a maximum of four cameras (out of the possible sixteen connected to DxPlus), in four windows.
This can be increased by adding additional video cards and VDU's to the PC, should you require it.
( NB. It is also possible to play one video in full screen. Live display is possible only if recording is on. ) Should you wish to monitor the images in a different room to where the DVR is stored, a separate controller connect to the DVR can control the cameras, allowing full pan, tilt and zoom facilities.
Creative Action chose Eclipse CCTV as its CCTV partner not only for quality and value in its CCTV hardware, but also for its remote monitoring video software.
Solar Secure™ can also offer complete offsite remote property monitoring, by utilising Eclipse CCTV's DxPlus software, Land Securities will be able to view their properties anywhere in the world and monitor what is happening in real-time. In addition, from a remote location, you will have full control over each individual camera ( pan, zoom and tilt ) regardless of where the operator is situated.
Creative Action believe that the future of CCTV monitoring will be to have large offshore monitoring stations, which will reduce the need for individual monitoring in each property location, reducing staff and wage costs.
Solar Secure™ Remote Mobile MonitoringSolar Secure™ DX Plus software also offers clients the opportunity to view camera images on mobile devices. Any mobile device, PDA's Laptops, which have internet connectivity, can receive the same images as the control room.
By issuing PDA's to security personnel, staff out on patrol can monitor Speed Dome Cameras without the need to be sitting in a Control Room. - Allowing instant response to situations. Even if not online all the time, mobile security staff can be contacted by system controller ( by 2 way radio or cell phone ) and advised of a situation , and can then go use their PDA's to see what the problem is.
Where clients have a collection of smaller properties in local geographical area with no onsite security, vehicle based security personnel can travel from site to site logging in to individual premise's systems to check that all is OK.
Solar Secure™ Larger Systems
Creative Action realises that not all locations will require Solar based solutions. Indeed while wireless is the future in terms of reducing installation costs, there is a limit to how many wireless cameras you can have in one location. Therefore, Creative Action will also offer grid only and dual systems ( for external use ) and grid only solutions for internal use.
In locations where more than 16 cameras are required, hard wired units will be integrated into the system (allowing an infinite number of cameras, subject to the additional provision of DVR's, PC capacity and controllers.
It is assumed that the control centres of ( in the case of remote control, equipment rooms ) will be located within a building which has grid power.
Solar Secure™ Alarm Systems
SOLSEC Speed Dome cameras can be used as movement detector alarms, as can fixed position cameras. The DxPlus software can detect movement when there should be and alert security staff.
